BIOs

Basic Input/Output Station. Not the firmware. Close enough. These are the actors who boot when a camera turns on. They are pixels. They live in the building. Please do not unplug them during a segment.

Alex

Runs the cafe set and underplays every joke until it lands anyway. Has never asked for a bigger dressing room. He does not know that is a thing people ask for.

Jamie

Alex's partner behind the counter. Needles him with affection and will not let a bit die on the table.

Morgan Vale

Night desk. Glasses, hair up, never rattled. If the building caught fire she would note the wind before she noted the fire.

Drew Kim

Teal hair, a bow, and no fixed job title. Booked when a scene needs someone who might do anything, including the scene.

Quin Hart

Pink bob. Sells the bit even when the bit is a folding stool. Especially then.

Pat Harlan

The desk. Reads the wire like it owes him money, then smirks so you know he is in on it.

Riley Fox

After hours, rust hoodie, already halfway to the alley. The station is not sure she has a call time. She arrives anyway.

Casey Quinn

Riley's deadpan other half. Lands the soft line after the sharp one and pretends that was the plan.

Sam Ortiz

Overalls. Fixes the thing the segment is about, or stands near it until the camera believes he did.

Noah Bell

Cream turtleneck. Believes the segment. The rest of the building finds this useful and slightly alarming.

Rex Pitch

Home shopping. Confident about products that were invented that morning. The confidence is the product.

Lina Spark

The sincere half of a commercial. Smiles like the object will change your life. Sometimes the object is a tray.

Otto Gleam

Whispers the price like it is a secret he regrets telling you. Older than the product. Older than the bit.

Bea Harbor

Lifestyle pitch. Can make a hose clamp sound like a weekend.

Kit Morrow

Inventor energy. Holds the prototype up to the lens and is delighted that it exists.

Vera Lux

Closes the luxury version of whatever we are selling. Has never explained what makes it luxury. The blazer does that.
